How to Make a Free Blog on Blogger

Today, "Online Tutor 4 You" will teach you "how to make/create a free bolg on blogger". Blogger is Google's famous, easy to use , and free blogging platform. Do you know, what is blog? What is blogging?

What is Blog?
Blog is website consisting of entries(also called posts) appearing in reverse chronological order with the most recent entry appearing first. It is also called "weblog" or web log".

What is Blogging and Blogger?
The act of writing a post for a blog is called blogging and the person who writes content for a blog is called a blogger.

Now let's start learning "how to make/create a blog on blogger".

How to Make/Create a Blog:

1. Sign In to Google account. If you don't have a Google account then click on the link given below.                                         Create Google Account
2. Go to Blogger
3. Click on Sign In. It is on the upper right corner of the window. Enter your Google username and password. Select a profile type. I will suggest you Google+ profile. Follow the instructions to finish creating your profile. 
4. Enter a Display Name and Click Continue to Blogger. The Display Name is the name that your readers will know you by. 
5. Click on Create New Blog
6. Type a Title for your Blog. Title will be the name of your blog. As mine is "Online Tutor 4 You". 
7. Type a URL/Address of your Blog. If it is not available try other variations on the name you want to use. Don't use hyphens, underscore and colons. 
8. Enter the verification Code and click continue 
9. Choose a template. This is the basic design and layout of your blog.
10. Click on Create Blog
11. Click on Themes. Here you can change theme of your blog and can customize them. 
12. Click on Setting. From here you can set language , can change name and address of your blog. You can also add authors to your blog from setting>basic>permission>Add Author 

How to Create a Post:           

1. Click on Posts. It is in the left menu bar.
2. Click on New Post
3. Enter a Post Title
4. Write your post. Click on Compose to type your post as you would in a typical text editor. Here you can change fonts, color of text, add pictures and add videos in your post. 
5. Click on Post Settings. Here you can add labels (Key Words) , Permalink , and location of your post. 
6. Click on Save. By doing so your content will save. Then click on Preview to see what your post will look like. Now click on Publish to take it live for your audience.
